My Story

Throughout most of my life I was a confirmed Agnostic.  I didn’t believe in God but I was open to accept the possibility of a higher power if someone could prove their existence.  Although I didn’t know it at the time, my Spiritual journey began in 1997 when my father was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, caused by asbestos exposure.  I set about finding out as much as I could about the disease and if there was anything I could do to help him live longer.  I was introduced to a Spiritual Healer and Clairvoyant who, unable to help my father, gave me healing for high pressure in my eyes.  A reduction in pressure to within the normal range was confirmed by my optician some weeks after the healing sessions were concluded.

Sadly, my father died in February 1999 but sufficient curiosity in, and a desire to do healing led me to take my first Reiki attunement later that year.  My career background was in the construction industry, primarily in building services and latterly in project management.  Whilst I was working in the construction industry I embarked on a number of complementary therapies, starting with a 2 year course in Natural Nutrition at Regents Park College.

I think there has always been an underlying desire within me to help people but in my early years this was expressed by doing physical jobs for them or something of that nature.

Although I had been attuned to first degree Reiki, I didn’t use it very much and a chance meeting with the person who first suggested that I learn Reiki led me to sign up for a healing course with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers in 2004.

Having completed the course in 2005 I found to my frustration that there was not much of an outlet for my newly gained skill apart from the occasional exhibition and a monthly meeting of registered healers.  This led me to other healing centres and friends who helped in my Spiritual development.

Seeking treatment for a long-standing knee injury led me to have Spiritual Surgery with a number of healers.  It was through this constant seeking of help and thirst for knowledge that I met people who have guided me in my trance work and nurtured my connection with the Spirit guides who I work with.

Matthew the Spirit Surgeon, who mostly does physical healing, and is the 'Director of Operations' first made himself known to me in February 2007.  Father Francis who does emotional healing, made himself known to me some 2 years later and John who heals the soul, has been working with me for a similar amount of time.  Other guides have come to work with me as time goes on, such as Eduard, Joseph and the Spirit Monk.  I am told that more will come to work in the future.  Each healing that is carried out enhances our connection with each other and improves the outcome for the client.

My continuing development is made possible with the help of friends who I sit with in development and trance circles, and one-to-one trance sittings with the Spirit world.  I am constantly seeking to further my knowledge of the Spirit world and how I can become a greater instrument for them.

I have now retired from the construction industry to focus full time on the healing work.  I am truly blessed to be able to work for Spirit in this way and I thank them for the work they do in helping people to get better and live a fuller life.

I am grateful to many people who have helped me along my path, some in small ways, some who have played a bigger role.  There are many, and you know who you are, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

However there are a few wonderful friends who have been pivotal in my development who deserve a special mention.  These are:

Raye Edwina Brown who has given me much guidance and who has drawn most of my Spirit Guides.

Brenda Button (formerly Hanley) who saw the potential gift in me that I did not think was there, and first introduced me to trance healing.  Brenda continues to work for Spirit in Cornwall.

Cynthia Warne who has nurtured my gift, unselfishly given her time to connect me with my Spirit Guides through many trance sessions, and who has freed me from my chains of self-doubt.

And last, but certainly not least, my wife Teresa (Terry - yes, with a 'y') who has given me a love that I have never experienced before and has made my life complete in so many ways.

I look forward with anticipation of the next stage in my wonderful journey.
